Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, clear surface.

  1. Attach Lower Handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets; secure with provided bolts and wrench.
  2. Attach Upper Handle: Connect upper handle to lower handle; secure with knobs or bolts.
  3. Install Grass Bag: Attach bag holder to rear deck; hook bag onto holder.
  4. Install Side-Discharge Chute: If using side-discharge, attach chute to discharge opening.
  5. Insert Battery: Place battery into battery compartment until it clicks.

First-Time Setup

Operating the Mower

For optimal performance and safety, follow these steps.

  1. Clear Area: Remove stones, toys, and debris from lawn.
  2. Insert Safety Key: Place key into slot near handle.
  3. Start Mower: Press and hold start button; motor will engage.
  4. Adjust Speed: Turn dial to match walking pace and grass conditions.
  5. Mow in Overlapping Passes: For even cut, overlap each pass by a few inches.
  6. Empty Bag: When bag is full, stop mower, remove safety key, and empty clippings.
  7. After Use: Remove safety key, clean deck, and store properly.

Tip: Mow when grass is dry for best results. Avoid mowing in wet conditions.

Battery & Charging

The 56V ARC Lithium™ battery requires proper care for longevity.

  1. Charging: Use only EGO quick charger. Connect charger to battery, then plug into 120V outlet.
  2. Charging Indicators: LED shows red while charging, green when full.
  3. Storage: Store battery in cool, dry place (50°F to 77°F ideal).
  4. Run Time: Varies with grass height, density, and mowing speed. Use higher speed for thicker grass.
  5. Battery Gauge: Press button on battery to check remaining charge (4 LEDs = full).

WARNING! Do not use damaged battery or charger. Keep away from water and metal objects.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. After Each Use: Clean underside of deck with brush or hose (ensure mower is off and battery removed).
  2. Blade Care: Check blade for damage monthly. Sharpen or replace if dull or nicked.
