Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, clear surface.

Attach the lower handle: Align with deck brackets and secure with provided bolts and wrench.
Attach the upper handle: Connect to lower handle, secure knobs, and route control cable along handle.
Install the grass collection bag: Attach bag hooks to rear deck mounts.
Install the mulching plug (if using mulch mode): Insert into rear discharge chute.
Insert the safety key and battery: Ensure mower is off and battery is charged.

WARNING! Ensure all bolts are tightened securely. Do not operate without proper assembly.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, fully charge the battery and perform a safety check.

Charge the battery: Connect charger to battery and AC outlet; charge until indicator shows full.
Select cutting mode: Install mulching plug, bag, or set for side-discharge.
Adjust cutting height: Use single lever to set desired height (start at highest setting for first mow).
Inspect area: Clear lawn of debris, stones, and toys.
Insert safety key and battery: Press start button to test operation.

Controls and Operation

Main Controls: Start/Stop button, Safety key slot, Battery release button, Single-lever height adjuster, Handlebar controls.

Operation Steps:

Insert safety key into slot on control panel.
Insert charged battery into battery port until it clicks.
Press and hold the safety lever on the handlebar.
Press the green Start button. The blade will begin to rotate.
Release the safety lever to stop the blade. Remove safety key when not in use.

Note: The mower will not start unless the safety key is inserted and the handlebar lever is engaged.

Cutting Modes & Height Adjustment

3-in-1 Cutting Modes:

Mulching: Install mulching plug. Clippings are cut finely and returned to lawn as nutrient-rich mulch.
Bagging: Attach grass collection bag. Clippings are collected for disposal.
Side-Discharge: Remove both mulching plug and bag. Clippings are discharged to the side (use with optional side-discharge chute cover).

Height Adjustment: Use the single lever near each wheel to raise or lower the deck. All four wheels adjust simultaneously. Choose height based on grass type and season.

Battery Charging & Care

Use only the EGO 56V charger provided.

Remove battery from mower.
Connect charger to battery and plug into a standard 120V AC outlet.
Charging indicator LEDs will show progress. Solid green light indicates full charge.
Store battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and metal objects.
For long-term storage, charge battery to 50-80% and store at room temperature.

WARNING! Do not use damaged batteries or chargers. Do not expose battery to fire or water.

Safety Features

Safety Key: Prevents accidental starting. Remove when not in use. Handlebar Safety Lever: Must be held for mower to operate; releases to stop blade instantly. Battery Protection: Built-in protection against overheat, overcharge, and short circuit.

Maintenance & Storage

After each use: Clean underside of deck (mower off, battery removed). Check blade for damage or dullness. Periodically: Inspect bolts and hardware for tightness. Clean battery contacts with dry cloth.

Storage: Store in a dry place. Remove battery for separate storage. Fold handle for compact storage.

CAUTION! Always disconnect battery before performing any maintenance. Wear gloves when handling the blade.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Possible Cause	Corrective Action
