Specifications

Controls and Operation

Handle Controls: START/STOP Button, Bail Lever (Safety Handle), Height Adjustment Lever, Battery Fuel Gauge.

Starting: Insert Safety Key. Press and hold the Bail Lever against the handle. Press the green START Button. The mower will start immediately.

Stopping: Release the Bail Lever. The blade will stop within 3 seconds. Remove the Safety Key for complete safety.

Adjusting Height: Pull the Height Adjustment Lever toward the wheel and move it to the desired setting. Release to lock.

Using Headlights: The LED headlights turn on automatically when the mower is running.

Cutting Modes

Configure the mower for your preferred cutting method.

  1. Mulching: Install the mulching plug. Cuts clippings finely and returns them to the lawn as fertilizer.
  2. Bagging: Attach the grass bag. Collects clippings for disposal. Empty bag when full for optimal performance.
  3. Side Discharge: Remove both the bag and mulching plug. Discharges clippings to the side. Ideal for tall or wet grass.

Tip: For best mulching results, mow when the grass is dry and avoid cutting more than 1/3 of the grass blade length at once.

Battery & Charging

The 56V ARC Lithium™ battery is maintenance-free and charges quickly.

  1. Charging: Use only the provided EGO rapid charger. Connect charger to battery, then plug into outlet. The LED will indicate charging status (red=charging, green=full).
  2. Storage: Store battery in a cool, dry place away from metal objects. For long-term storage, charge to about 50%.
  3. Fuel Gauge: Press the button on the battery to see remaining charge level (4 LEDs = 100%-76%, 1 LED = 25% or less).
  4. Runtime: Varies based on grass height, density, and cutting mode. Mulching typically uses more power than bagging.

WARNING! Do not use damaged batteries or chargers. Do not expose battery to fire or water.

Safety Features

Bail Lever (Safety Handle): Blade stops within 3 seconds of release. Safety Key: Must be inserted to operate; remove to prevent unauthorized use. Blade Brake System: Automatically stops the blade when the Bail Lever is released. Tip-Over Protection: Motor cuts off if mower is tilted excessively.

Care & Maintenance

Always remove the Safety Key and battery before performing any maintenance.

  1. Cleaning: After use, tip mower on its side (air filter side up). Use a brush or damp cloth to remove grass clippings from the deck, blade, and underside. Never use water or pressure washers.
  2. Blade Care: Periodically inspect the blade for damage, dullness, or imbalance. Sharpen or replace as needed using the correct blade bolt torque (35-40 ft-lbs).
  3. Wheel & Bearing Check: Ensure wheels turn freely. Lubricate axle points if necessary.
  4. Storage: Store in a dry place. Fold the handle for compact storage. Do not store with a fully charged or fully depleted battery.

CAUTION! The blade is sharp. Wear heavy gloves when handling. Ensure mower is secure and cannot fall.
