Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, clear surface.

  1. Attach the handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets, secure with provided bolts and wrench.
  2. Install upper handle: Connect to lower handle, secure knobs hand-tight.
  3. Attach grass bag: Hook bag onto rear deck hooks; ensure secure fit.
  4. Install battery: Insert fully charged battery into compartment until it clicks.
  5. Check wheels: Ensure all wheels rotate freely and are properly attached.

WARNING! Keep hands clear of blade area during assembly. Use provided tools only.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, complete these steps.

  1. Charge battery fully: Connect charger to battery and wall outlet; charge until indicator shows full.
  2. Select mowing mode: Install mulching plug, grass bag, or side discharge chute as desired.
  3. Adjust cutting height: Use single lever to set height appropriate for your lawn.
  4. Insert safety key: Ensure mower will not start without key inserted.

Battery & Charging

Use only EGO 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries and charger.

  2. Storage: Store battery in cool, dry place (50°F-77°F ideal).
  3. Battery Gauge: Press button on battery to check charge level (LED indicators).
  4. Run Time: Varies with grass conditions, height, and battery capacity.

Tip: Charge battery after each use for next mowing session.

Mowing Operation

Supports mulching, bagging, and side discharge.

  1. Start: Insert safety key, grip bail lever, press START button.
  2. Mow: Walk at steady pace; overlap passes slightly for even cut.
  3. Change Mode: Stop mower, select mulching (plug installed), bagging (bag attached), or side discharge (chute installed).
  4. Empty Bag: Stop mower, detach bag, empty clippings.
  5. Finish: Release bail lever to stop blade; remove safety key.
  6. Slope Mowing: Mow across slopes, not up and down, for stability.
  7. Wet Grass: Avoid mowing very wet grass to prevent clumping.

WARNING! Always wear eye protection and sturdy footwear. Keep bystanders away.

Height Adjustment

Single-lever system adjusts all four wheels simultaneously.

  1. Stop mower and ensure blade is not rotating.
  2. Move lever at each wheel to same numbered position (1=lowest, 6=highest).
  3. Test on small area to ensure desired cutting height.

Recommended: Cut no more than 1/3 of grass height at a time.

Care & Maintenance

After each use: Clean underside of deck (mower off, battery removed). Periodically: Check blade for sharpness/damage; inspect bolts and wheels.

CAUTION! Always disconnect battery before cleaning or maintenance. Do not use water on electrical components.

Safety Information
