Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Attach the Lower Handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets; secure with provided bolts and wrench.
  2. Attach the Upper Handle: Connect upper handle to lower handle; secure with knobs (hand-tighten).
  3. Install the Grass Bag: Hook bag onto rear deck hooks; ensure it clicks into place.
  4. Install the Mulching Plug (if desired): Insert plug into rear discharge chute.
  5. Attach the Battery: Slide battery into compartment until it clicks; charge fully before first use.

WARNING! Ensure all bolts are tightened securely. Do not operate until fully assembled.

First-Time Setup

Prepare mower for initial use.

  1. Charge Battery: Connect charger to battery and wall outlet; charge until indicator shows full (approx. 30 min).
  2. Adjust Cutting Height: Set lever to desired height (recommend 3" for first mow).
  3. Inspect Area: Clear lawn of debris, rocks, and toys.
  4. Insert Safety Key: Insert key into slot near handle.
  5. Test Start: Press and hold safety key and start button; blade should engage smoothly.

Controls and Operation

Handle Controls: Safety Key, Start Button, Bail Handle (blade control), Height Adjustment Lever.

Starting: Insert safety key. Press and hold safety key and start button simultaneously while pulling bail handle toward handlebar. Release start button once motor runs.

Stopping: Release bail handle; blade stops within 3 seconds. Remove safety key.

Using Grass Bag: Attach bag; empty when full indicator shows. Mulching: Install mulching plug; remove bag.

LED Headlights: Turn on automatically when motor runs in low light.

Cutting Height Adjustment

Single lever adjusts all four wheels simultaneously.

  1. Stop mower and remove safety key.
  2. Pull height adjustment lever toward wheel.
  3. Move lever to desired position (1-6, lowest to highest).
  4. Release lever; ensure it locks into place.
  5. Test by lifting mower slightly; all wheels should be at same height.

Tip: For healthier grass, never cut more than 1/3 of grass height at once.

Battery & Charging

56V ARC Lithium™ battery; rapid charger included.

  1. Charging: Connect charger to battery and 120V outlet. Charger LED shows red (charging) then green (full).
  2. Runtime: Up to 45 minutes on 2.5Ah battery (varies with grass conditions).
  3. Storage: Store battery in cool, dry place. Charge every 6 months if not in use.
  4. Battery Indicator: Press button on battery to check charge level (LEDs: 4=full, 1=low).

WARNING! Use only EGO-approved charger and batteries. Do not expose battery to fire or water.

Safety Features

Safety Key: Must be inserted to operate. Bail Handle: Blade stops within 3 seconds of release. Blade Brake: Stops blade immediately if handle is released. Tip-Over Protection: Motor stops if mower tips. Eye/Face Protection: Always wear safety glasses.

Care & Maintenance

After each use: Clean underside of deck (mower off, key removed). Check blade for damage; replace if bent or dull. Store in dry place; fold handle for compact storage.

CAUTION! Always disconnect battery before cleaning or maintenance. Do not use water on motor or battery.
