Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, clear surface.

  1. Attach the Lower Handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets; secure with provided bolts and wrench.
  2. Attach the Upper Handle: Connect upper handle to lower handle; secure with knobs or bolts.
  3. Install the Grass Bag: Hook bag onto rear deck mounts; ensure it clicks into place.
  4. Install the Mulching Plug (if mulching): Insert plug into rear discharge chute.
  5. Attach Wheels: Slide wheels onto axles; secure with push nuts or washers.

WARNING! Ensure all fasteners are tight before use. Do not operate if parts are loose or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Prepare mower for initial use.

  1. Charge the Battery: Insert battery into charger; plug into standard 120V outlet. Charge fully (approx. 60 min).
  2. Install Battery: Slide charged battery into battery compartment until it clicks.
  3. Adjust Cutting Height: Set lever to desired height (recommend 2.5"-3" for first mow).
  4. Insert Safety Key: Insert key into slot near handle.
  5. Test Start: Press and hold safety lever, then press start button to ensure operation.

Handle Controls: Safety Lever (must be held to operate), Start/Stop Button, Battery Fuel Gauge, Height Adjustment Lever.

Operation: Press and hold safety lever, then press start button to begin mowing. Release safety lever to stop blade. Settings: Height adjustment via single lever (positions marked). Battery: Check fuel gauge for charge level. Mulch/Bag/Side-Discharge: Configure rear chute with appropriate insert (mulching plug, bag, or open for side discharge).

Battery & Charging

Use only EGO 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries and charger.

  1. Charging: Insert battery into charger; plug charger into outlet. LED indicates charging status.
  2. Installation: Slide battery into mower compartment until it clicks and fuel gauge illuminates.
  3. Storage: Store battery in a cool, dry place. For long-term storage, charge to 50%.
  4. Disposal: Do not dispose in trash. Recycle at designated battery recycling center.

Tip: For best performance, charge battery at room temperature. Avoid extreme heat or cold.

Mowing Operation

Supports mulching, bagging, and side-discharge.

  1. Select Mode: Install mulching plug, grass bag, or leave chute open for side-discharge.
  2. Start Mower: Insert safety key. Press and hold safety lever, then press start button.
  3. Mow: Walk at a steady pace, overlapping passes slightly for even cut.
  4. Stop: Release safety lever to stop blade. Press start button again to restart.
  5. Empty Bag: Stop mower, remove safety key. Empty bag when full indicator is raised.
  6. Switch Modes: Stop mower and remove key before changing mulch/bag configuration.

WARNING! Always remove safety key before performing any maintenance or clearing blockages. Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.

Height Adjustment

Adjust all four wheels simultaneously with the single lever.

  1. Locate Adjustment Lever: On the side of the deck near a wheel.
  2. Select Height: Move lever to desired numbered position (1=lowest, 7=highest).
  3. Verify: Lift deck slightly to ensure all wheels are at the same height.

Recommendation: For healthy grass, do not cut more than 1/3 of the grass blade length at one time.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug charger and remove battery before cleaning or maintenance.

  1. After Each Use: Clean underside of deck with brush or hose (ensure mower is off and key removed).
  2. Blade Care: Periodically check blade for damage and sharpness. Replace if bent or dull.
  3. Wheel & Bearing Check: Ensure wheels turn freely; lubricate if necessary.
  4. Storage: Store in a dry place. Fold handle for compact storage.

CAUTION! Always wear gloves when handling the blade. Ensure mower is completely powered off.
