Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all contents. Assemble on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Attach the Lower Handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets and secure with provided bolts.
  2. Attach the Upper Handle: Connect upper handle to lower handle, secure with knobs or bolts.
  3. Install the Grass Bag: Attach bag holder to rear deck and clip grass bag into place.
  4. Install the Battery: Insert battery into battery port until it clicks.
  5. Attach Side-Discharge Chute (if needed): Snap chute into side port for side-discharge mode.

WARNING! Ensure mower is powered OFF and battery is removed during assembly. Tighten all fasteners securely.

First-Time Setup

Prepare mower for initial use.

  1. Charge Battery: Connect battery to charger; charge fully before first use (LED indicates status).
  2. Select Cutting Mode: Choose mulch, bag, or side-discharge by installing appropriate chute or plug.
  3. Adjust Cutting Height: Use height adjustment lever to set desired cutting height.

Battery & Charging

Use only EGO 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries and charger.

  1. Charging: Connect battery to charger; plug charger into 120V outlet. LED indicates charging (red) and complete (green).
  2. Runtime: Varies based on grass conditions and height; typical 45-60 minutes per charge.
  3. Storage: Store battery in cool, dry place. Charge fully before long storage.
  4. Battery Gauge: Press button on battery to check charge level (LED indicators).

Tip: For best performance, charge battery at room temperature. Do not expose battery to extreme heat or cold.

Mowing Operation

Supports standard mowing with three clipping options.

  1. Pre-Mow Check: Ensure area is clear of debris, stones, and toys. Install desired clipping accessory.
  2. Starting: Insert safety key. Hold safety lever, press start button.
  3. Mowing Technique: Use overlapping passes for even cut. Mow in dry conditions for best results.
  4. Stopping: Release safety lever; blade stops within 3 seconds.
  5. Emptying Bag: Stop mower, remove safety key. Detach and empty grass bag when full.
  6. Switching Modes: Stop mower and remove key before changing mulch plug, bag, or chute.

WARNING! Always wear eye protection and sturdy footwear. Do not mow on steep slopes. Keep hands and feet away from cutting deck.

Height Adjustment

Adjust cutting height to match grass conditions.

  1. Locate Adjustment Lever: Found on each wheel or central lever.
  2. Select Height: Move lever to desired setting (1.5 to 4 inches). Ensure all wheels are at same height.
  3. Test: Mow a small area to verify cut quality.

Note: For first mow of season or long grass, set to highest setting, then lower gradually.

Care & Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. After Each Use: Clean underside of deck (remove battery first). Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Blade Care: Periodically inspect blade for damage or dullness. Sharpen or replace as needed.
  3. Wheel Care: Check wheels for free movement; lubricate axles if necessary.
  4. Storage: Fold handle, store in dry location. Remove battery and store separately.
  5. Winter Storage: Charge battery fully, store in cool, dry place above freezing.
