Assembly & Setup

Unpack all parts and inspect for damage. Assembly requires basic tools (included).

  1. Attach the handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets, secure with provided bolts and wrench.
  2. Install the upper handle: Connect to lower handle, secure knobs.
  3. Attach the grass bag: Hook bag onto rear deck hooks; ensure it's securely fastened.
  4. Install the battery: Insert fully charged battery into compartment until it clicks.
  5. Adjust cutting height: Set lever to desired position before starting.

WARNING! Ensure mower is powered OFF and battery is removed during assembly. Keep hands clear of blade area.

First-Time Operation

Fully charge battery before first use. Familiarize yourself with all controls.

  1. Insert battery: Push into compartment until it locks.
  2. Select cutting mode: Install mulch plug, bag, or side chute as needed.
  3. Adjust height: Use single lever to set cutting height for your lawn.
  4. Start mower: Press and hold safety button, then press START button.

  6. Mow: Walk at a steady pace, overlapping passes slightly.

Operation: Press and hold safety button, then press START to power blade motor. Squeeze drive lever to engage self-propulsion; release to stop. Adjust speed by squeezing more or less.

Cutting Modes: Install mulch plug for recycling clippings. Attach bag for collection. Install side discharge chute for directing clippings. Height Adjustment: Single lever adjusts all four wheels simultaneously through 6 positions.

Battery & Charging

Use only EGO 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries and charger.

  1. Charging: Insert battery into charger; plug charger into 120V outlet. LED indicates charging status.
  2. Battery Care: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures.
  3. Runtime: Varies based on grass condition, height, and self-propulsion usage.
  4. Indicator: Check battery level LEDs on handle or battery itself.

Tip: For longest life, charge battery after each use. Do not store in a fully discharged state.

Mowing Operations

Supports mulching, bagging, and side discharge.

  1. Mulching: Install mulch plug. Cuts clippings finely and returns them to lawn as fertilizer.
  2. Bagging: Attach grass bag. Empty bag when full indicator is raised.
  3. Side Discharge: Install discharge chute for cutting tall or wet grass.
  4. Self-Propulsion: Adjust speed to match your walking pace.
  5. Overlap: Overlap each pass by 2-3 inches for even cutting.
  6. Slopes: Mow across slopes, not up and down, for stability.
  7. Wet Grass: Avoid mowing very wet grass; use side discharge if necessary.

WARNING! Always turn mower OFF and remove battery before changing cutting mode or clearing blockages.

Maintenance & Storage

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. After each use: Clean underside of deck (remove battery first).
  2. Blade Care: Periodically inspect blade for damage or dullness. Sharpen or replace as needed.
  3. Wheels: Check for debris and ensure they rotate freely.
  4. Storage: Store in a dry place. Remove battery for long-term storage and charge to 50%.
  5. Winterizing: Clean thoroughly before storage. Do not store with battery fully depleted.

CAUTION! Always disconnect battery before performing any maintenance. Wear gloves when handling the blade.
