The EGO LM2130 is a 21-inch cordless electric lawn mower powered by a 56V ARC Lithium™ battery. Assembly Instructions

Unpack all parts and inspect for damage. Assemble on a flat, clear surface.

1. Attach the Lower Handle: Insert lower handle into deck slots and secure with provided bolts.
2. Attach the Upper Handle: Connect upper handle to lower handle; tighten knobs securely.
3. Install the Grass Bag: Attach bag holder to rear deck; hang grass bag onto holder.
4. Install Battery: Insert 56V battery into battery compartment until it clicks.
5. Attach Side Discharge Chute (if needed): Secure chute to side discharge opening.

WARNING! Ensure all bolts and knobs are tightened. Do not operate with loose parts.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, charge the battery fully and adjust cutting height.

1. Charge Battery: Connect charger to battery; plug into standard 120V outlet. LED indicates charging (solid green when full).
2. Adjust Cutting Height: Use single lever to set desired height (1.5" to 4").
3. Select Discharge Mode: Install mulching plug, grass bag, or side discharge chute as needed.
4. Insert Safety Key: Insert key into slot near handle to enable start button.

CAUTION! Always remove safety key when not in use. Keep hands and feet away from blade area.

Controls and Settings

Main controls located on the handle. Front Panel: START/STOP button, Battery Indicator, Speed Control Lever.

Operation: Insert Safety Key, press and hold START button to engage blade, release to stop. Adjust speed with lever (turtle for slow, rabbit for fast). Adjust height with single lever. Discharge Mode: Select mulch (plug installed), bag (bag attached), or side discharge (chute attached).

Operating the Mower

For best results, mow when grass is dry and clear area of debris.

1. Insert Safety Key into slot.
2. Press and hold START button; blade engages.
3. Walk at a steady pace; adjust speed with control lever.
4. To stop, release START button; remove Safety Key.
5. Empty grass bag when full; check battery level indicator.

Tip: Overlap each pass by 2-3 inches for even cutting. Avoid mowing in wet conditions.

Maintenance & Storage

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

1. After Each Use: Clean underside of deck; remove grass clippings and debris.
2. Blade Care: Inspect blade monthly for damage; sharpen or replace as needed.
3. Battery Care: Store battery in a cool, dry place; charge fully before long storage.
4. Winter Storage: Clean mower thoroughly; remove battery and store separately.
5. Wheel & Height Adjustment: Lubricate moving parts annually with silicone spray.

WARNING! Always disconnect battery before performing any maintenance. Ensure blade has stopped completely.

Safety Features

Safety Key: Required to start mower; remove to prevent unauthorized use. Blade Brake: Stops blade within 3 seconds of releasing START button. Guarded Deck: Prevents debris from being thrown. LED Headlights: Improve visibility in low light.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug charger and remove battery before cleaning. Use a damp cloth to wipe exterior; use brush to clean deck underside.
