Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, clear surface.

Attach the Lower Handle: Secure to deck using provided bolts and wrench.
Attach the Upper Handle: Connect to lower handle and secure knobs.
Install the Rear Bag: Hook bag onto the deck's rear brackets.
Install the Battery: Insert fully charged battery into the battery port until it clicks.
Attach Discharge Chute/Mulching Plug: Depending on your desired mode.

WARNING! Ensure mower is powered OFF and battery is removed during assembly. Tighten all fasteners securely.

First-Time Operation

Before first use, fully charge the battery. Perform a test run in a clear area.

Insert Safety Key: Push the safety key fully into the slot on the control panel.
Adjust Cutting Height: Use the single lever to set desired height.
Select Mode: Ensure mulching plug, bag, or side chute is correctly installed.
Start Mower: Hold the safety bail (handle) and press the start button.
Engage Self-Propulsion: Squeeze the drive control lever on the handle to move forward.
Mow: Overlap passes slightly for an even cut. Avoid mowing wet grass.

CAUTION! Clear mowing area of stones, sticks, and debris. Keep hands and feet away from the cutting deck.

Controls and Settings

Main controls are located on the handle. Control Panel: START/STOP button, Battery Fuel Gauge, Safety Key slot.

Handle Controls: Safety Bail (must be held for operation), Drive Control Lever (squeeze for self-propulsion), Height Adjustment Lever.

Operation: Insert key, hold safety bail, press start. Adjust speed with drive lever pressure. Use height lever before mowing. Battery: Check fuel gauge; remove for charging. Storage: Fold handle, remove battery, clean deck.

Using the 3-in-1 Function

Switch between Mulching, Bagging, and Side Discharge by changing the deck attachment.

Mulching: Install the mulching plug fully to close the rear and side openings. Grass is finely cut and returned to the lawn.
Bagging: Remove mulching plug and ensure side chute is closed. Attach the rear collection bag to catch clippings.
Side Discharge: Remove mulching plug and rear bag. Attach the side discharge chute to eject clippings to the side.

Tip: Always stop the mower and remove the battery before changing the cutting mode.

Battery & Charging

The 56V battery powers the mower and is rechargeable.

Charging: Remove battery from mower. Plug charger into outlet, then connect to battery.
Charge Indicator: LED on charger shows status (red=charging, green=fully charged).
Run Time: Provides up to 60 minutes of runtime on a single charge (varies with grass conditions).
Storage: Store battery in a cool, dry place away from metal objects. Charge fully before long-term storage.
Fuel Gauge: Press the button on the battery to see remaining charge level (LED indicators).

WARNING! Use only EGO 56V chargers. Do not expose battery to fire, water, or extreme temperatures.

Safety Features

Safety Key: Must be inserted to operate; removes to prevent unauthorized use. Safety Bail: Blade stops within 3 seconds of release. Blade Brake System: Automatically stops blade when handle is released.

Care & Storage

After each use: Remove battery. Clean underside of deck with a brush or hose (ensure mower is OFF and unpowered). Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Check blade for damage or dullness.

End of Season: Clean thoroughly. Charge battery fully. Store in a dry, protected area. Fold handle for compact storage.

CAUTION! Never use water or cleaners on electrical components, battery, or charger. Always wear gloves when handling the blade.

Troubleshooting
