The EGO LM2200SP-FC is a 21-inch Cordless Self-Propelled Lawn Mower powered by a 56V ARC Lithium™ battery system. Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, clear surface.

1. Attach the Handle: Align the lower handle with the deck brackets and secure with provided bolts and wrench.
2. Install the Upper Handle: Connect to lower handle, secure knobs, and route the control cable along the handle.
3. Attach the Rear Bag: Hook the bag frame onto the deck mounts and secure the bag.
4. Install the Battery: Insert the charged 56V battery into the compartment until it clicks.
5. Adjust Cutting Height: Set the lever to your desired position (middle setting recommended for first use).

WARNING! Ensure the battery is removed during assembly. Tighten all bolts securely. Do not attempt to start the mower until fully assembled.

First-Time Operation

Before first mow, ensure the battery is fully charged and the area is clear of debris.

1. Insert Safety Key: Push the safety key fully into the slot on the control panel.
2. Charge Battery: Use the EGO rapid charger until the indicator shows full charge.
3. Select Mode: Choose between Mulching (install mulch plug) or Bagging (attach rear bag).
4. Start Mower: Hold the safety bail handle against the upper handle, then press the start button.
5. Engage Self-Propulsion: Squeeze the drive control lever on the upper handle to begin moving.
6. Adjust Speed: Use the variable speed dial to set your walking pace.

CAUTION! Always wear sturdy shoes and eye protection. Keep hands and feet away from the cutting deck. Do not mow on steep slopes (over 15 degrees).

Controls and Settings

Control Panel (on upper handle): START/STOP button, Battery Fuel Gauge, Drive Control Lever, Speed Dial, Safety Bail Handle.

Operation: Press and hold Safety Bail to activate controls. Press START button to spin blade. Squeeze Drive Control Lever to engage self-propulsion; adjust speed with dial. Release Safety Bail to stop blade immediately. Settings: Cutting Height (lever), Mowing Mode (Mulch/Bag).

Battery & Charging

Battery: 56V ARC Lithium™. Charger: Rapid Charger (model CH5500).

1. Charging: Insert battery into charger; plug charger into 120V outlet. LED indicates status (red=charging, green=full).
2. Runtime: Varies with grass condition, height, and terrain. A 5.0Ah battery typically provides up to 45 minutes.
3. Storage: Store battery in a cool, dry place. For long-term storage, charge to 30-50%.

Tip: Use only genuine EGO batteries and chargers. Do not expose battery to fire or water.

Mowing & Mulching

Supports mulching and bagging for healthy lawns.

1. Mulching Mode: Install mulch plug. Cuts clippings finely and returns them to the lawn as fertilizer.
2. Bagging Mode: Attach rear bag. Collects clippings for disposal.
3. Mowing Pattern: Overlap each pass by 1-2 inches for even cutting.
4. Tall Grass: Mow at highest setting first, then lower for a second pass.
5. Self-Propulsion: Use on slopes or long lawns to reduce effort.
6. Headlights: Turn on automatically in low light for visibility.

WARNING! Always turn off mower and remove safety key before changing modes, clearing blockages, or performing maintenance. Never insert hands near the blade.

Safety Features

Safety Key: Must be inserted to operate. Safety Bail Handle: Blade stops within 3 seconds of release. Blade Brake System: Automatically stops blade when handle is released. Tip-Over Protection: Engine stops if mower tips beyond safe angle.

Care & Maintenance

After each use: Clean underside of deck (with mower off and battery removed). Check blade for damage. Empty bag. Periodically: Inspect bolts for tightness. Check wheels and drive system. Sharpen or replace blade as needed (use EGO replacement blade).

CAUTION! Always disconnect battery before any maintenance. Do not use water or pressure washers on the mower; wipe clean with a damp cloth. Store in a dry place.
