Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, stable surface.

1. Attach the handle: Align handle brackets with deck mounts; secure with provided bolts and wrench.
2. Install the grass bag: Attach bag holder to rear deck; hang bag on holder.
3. Insert mulching plug or side discharge chute: Choose desired function; insert into rear discharge opening.
4. Install battery: Insert fully charged battery into battery compartment until it clicks.
5. Attach safety key: Insert key into slot near handle.

WARNING! Ensure mower is turned off and battery is removed during assembly. Tighten all bolts securely.

First-Time Operation

Before first use, fully charge the battery and perform a safety check.

1. Charge battery: Connect charger to battery and wall outlet; charge until indicator shows full.
2. Adjust cutting height: Use single lever to set desired height (start at 3" for first mow).
3. Select mowing function: Install mulching plug, grass bag, or side discharge chute.
4. Start mower: Insert safety key, press and hold safety handle, then press start button.
5. Test operation: Mow a small area to ensure proper function and adjust speed as needed.

CAUTION! Clear mowing area of debris, rocks, and toys before operation. Wear appropriate footwear and eye protection.

Controls and Settings

Mowing Operations

Supports mulching, bagging, and side discharge.

1. Select function: Install appropriate component (mulching plug, bag, or chute).
2. Adjust height: Set cutting height based on grass type and season.
3. Start mower: Insert key, hold safety handle, press start button.
4. Mow pattern: Overlap each pass by 1-2 inches for even cut.
5. Empty bag: Stop mower, remove bag, and empty when full indicator shows.
6. Switch functions: Turn off mower and change component as needed.
7. Use variable speed: Adjust dial for thick grass (slower) or light grass (faster).
8. Engage headlights: Press LED switch for low-light conditions.

WARNING! Always turn off mower and remove key before changing functions or clearing debris. Keep hands and feet away from blade area.

Maintenance & Storage

Clean after each use. Store in dry location.

1. Clean deck: Turn mower on side (battery removed); use brush or hose to remove grass clippings.
2. Inspect blade: Check for damage or dullness; sharpen or replace as needed.
3. Check wheels: Ensure wheels rotate freely and are secure.
4. Store battery: Remove and store battery indoors in cool, dry place.
