Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, stable surface.

1. Attach the handle: Align handle brackets with deck mounts; secure with provided bolts and wrench.
2. Install the rear bag: Attach bag frame to rear discharge chute; secure with clips or pins.
3. Attach the side discharge chute (if not using bag): Snap into place on right side of deck.
4. Install the battery: Insert fully charged battery into battery compartment until it clicks.
5. Adjust cutting height: Set single lever to desired height position (1.5" to 4").

WARNING! Ensure mower is turned off and battery is removed during assembly. Tighten all bolts securely.

First-Time Setup

Prepare mower for initial use.

1. Charge the battery: Connect charger to battery and AC outlet; charge until indicator shows full.
2. Install safety key: Insert safety key into slot near handle.
3. Select cutting mode: Attach rear bag for collection, mulch plug for mulching, or side chute for discharge.
4. Adjust cutting height: Set lever to middle position (e.g., 2.5") for first mow.
5. Perform a test run: In a clear area, press and hold safety lever, then push start button.

Controls and Operation

Handle Controls: Safety lever, Start button, Battery indicator, Height adjustment lever.

Operation Steps:

1. Insert safety key into slot.
2. Grip safety lever on handle (motor will not start unless lever is held).
3. Press and hold start button; mower will begin.
4. Release safety lever to stop blade; motor stops.
5. Adjust speed by varying push pressure (self-propelled model only; LM2020SP is push).

Height Adjustment: Move single lever to one of 6 positions. Battery Indicator: Shows green (full), yellow (medium), red (low). LED Headlights: Turn on automatically in low light when mower is running.

Battery & Charging

Battery: 56V ARC Lithium™, 5.0 Ah or 7.5 Ah (model dependent). Charger: Included rapid charger.

1. Charging: Connect charger to battery; plug into 120V outlet. Indicator shows charging progress.
2. Run Time: Approximately 45-60 minutes per charge (varies with grass conditions).
3. Storage: Store battery in cool, dry place; charge fully before long storage.
4. Battery Care: Do not expose to extreme temperatures; use only EGO POWER+ chargers.

Tip: For best performance, charge battery after each use.

Cutting Modes

Supports three cutting methods.

1. Mulching: Install mulch plug (closes rear and side openings). Grass is cut finely and returned to lawn.
2. Bagging: Attach rear bag to collect clippings. Empty when bag is full.
3. Side-Discharge: Attach side discharge chute to eject clippings to the side.

To change mode: Turn off mower, remove battery. Install desired attachment (plug, bag, or chute).

WARNING! Always turn off mower and remove battery before changing cutting mode.

Safety Features

Safety Key: Must be inserted to operate. Safety Lever: Blade stops if released. Blade Brake: Stops blade within 3 seconds. LED Headlights: Improve visibility. Weather-Resistant Design: Safe for use in damp grass (not heavy rain).

Care & Maintenance

After each use: Clean underside of deck; remove battery; store in dry place.

Regular Maintenance:
