Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all contents. Ensure all parts are present.

1. Attach the Lower Handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets and secure with provided bolts and wrench.
2. Attach the Upper Handle: Connect upper handle to lower handle, secure with knobs or bolts.
3. Install the Grass Bag: Hook bag onto rear deck hooks. Ensure it is securely attached.
4. Install the Battery: Insert battery into battery port on handle until it clicks. Charge fully before first use.
5. Attach Mulching Plug (if mulching): Insert plug into rear discharge chute.

WARNING! Do not install battery until assembly is complete. Ensure all fasteners are tight.

First-Time Setup

Before first mow, complete these steps.

1. Fully Charge Battery: Connect charger to battery and wall outlet. Charge until indicator shows full (approx. 60 minutes).
2. Adjust Cutting Height: Use single-lever height adjuster to select desired cutting height (1.5" to 4").
3. Select Discharge Mode: Decide on Mulch, Bag, or Side Discharge and install appropriate accessory.
4. Safety Check: Ensure blade is not damaged, all guards are in place, and area is clear of debris.
5. Test Start: Press and hold safety handle, then press start button to ensure mower operates smoothly.

Controls and Settings

Mowing Operation

Supports mulching, bagging, and side discharge.

1. Pre-Mow Check: Ensure battery is charged, area is clear of stones/obstacles.
2. Starting: Hold safety handle, press start button. Blade begins spinning.
3. Mowing: Walk at steady pace, overlapping passes slightly for even cut.
4. Stopping: Release safety handle. Blade stops within seconds.
5. Bag Emptying: Stop mower, detach bag, empty clippings.
6. Mode Change: Stop mower completely before changing between mulch/bag/side discharge.
7. Slopes: Mow across slopes, not up and down, for stability.
8. Wet Grass: Avoid mowing very wet grass to prevent clumping.

WARNING! Keep hands and feet away from cutting deck at all times. Do not mow in reverse.

Maintenance & Storage

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

1. After Each Use: Clean underside of deck (with mower off and battery removed).
2. Blade Care: Periodically inspect blade for damage or dullness. Sharpen or replace as needed.
3. Wheel and Height Adjustment: Lubricate moving parts if they become stiff.
4. Battery Contacts: Keep clean and dry.
5. End-of-Season Storage: Clean thoroughly, remove battery, store in dry location. Charge battery to 50%.
