Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, clear surface.

1. Attach the handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets, insert bolts, and tighten with provided wrench.
2. Install upper handle: Connect to lower handle, secure with knobs or bolts.
3. Attach grass bag: Hook bag onto rear deck mounts; ensure it clicks into place.
4. Install battery: Insert fully charged battery into battery compartment until it locks.
5. Check wheels: Ensure all wheels rotate freely and height adjuster lever moves smoothly.

WARNING! Do not install battery or attempt to start mower until assembly is complete and all fasteners are tight.

First-Time Operation

Before first mow, fully charge the battery and perform a safety check.

1. Charge battery: Connect charger to battery and AC outlet; charge until indicator shows full.
2. Insert safety key: Place safety key into slot near handle.
3. Select cutting mode: Install mulch plug, grass bag, or side discharge chute as desired.
4. Adjust cutting height: Move single lever to desired setting (start at highest for first mow).
5. Start mower: Press and hold safety lever on handle, then press start button.

CAUTION! Clear mowing area of debris, stones, and toys. Wear sturdy shoes and eye protection.

Controls and Settings

3. Storage: Store battery in a cool, dry place away from metal objects.
4. Temperature: Charge between 32°F and 104°F (0°C to 40°C) for optimal performance.

Tip: For longest battery life, avoid completely draining the battery. Charge after each use.

Mowing Operations

Supports mulching, bagging, and side discharge.

1. Starting: Insert safety key, grip safety lever, press start button.
2. Mowing: Walk at a steady pace; overlap passes slightly for even cut.
3. Cutting Height: Adjust based on grass type and season (higher in summer heat).
4. Bagging: Empty bag when full indicator is raised to maintain airflow.
5. Mulching: Ensure mulch plug is installed; mow when grass is dry for best results.
6. Side Discharge: Install chute for cutting tall or wet grass.
7. Stopping: Release safety lever; blade stops automatically. Remove safety key.
8. Slopes: Mow across slopes, not up and down, for stability.

WARNING! Always turn off mower and remove safety key before clearing blockages or performing maintenance.

Maintenance & Storage

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

1. After each use: Clean underside of deck with brush or hose (with mower off and battery removed).
2. Blade Care: Check blade for damage or dullness every 25 hours. Sharpen or replace as needed.
3. Wheels: Lubricate axle points if wheels become stiff.
4. Storage: Fold handle, store in a dry place. Remove battery and store separately.
5. Winter Storage: Fully charge battery before storing for extended periods.
