Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, stable surface.

1. Attach the handle: Align lower handle with deck mounts, secure with provided bolts and wrench.
2. Install upper handle: Connect to lower handle, secure knobs.
3. Attach grass bag: Hook bag onto rear deck mounts; ensure secure fit.
4. Install battery: Insert 56V battery into compartment until it clicks.
5. Charge battery: Connect charger to battery and AC outlet for initial full charge.

WARNING! Keep hands clear of blade area during assembly. Ensure all fasteners are tight.

First-Time Operation

Fully charge battery before first use. Follow safety procedures.

1. Insert battery: Ensure battery is fully seated and locked.
2. Adjust cutting height: Set lever to desired position (start high for first cut).
3. Select discharge mode: Install bag, mulch plug, or open chute as needed.
4. Start mower: Press and hold safety key, then press START button.
5. Engage drive: Squeeze drive control lever to self-propel; adjust speed with lever.
6. Mow lawn: Overlap passes slightly for even cut.

Controls and Settings

Battery & Charging

Tip: Use only EGO POWER+ chargers and batteries. Do not expose battery to extreme temperatures.

Cutting & Operation

For best results, mow when grass is dry.

1. Prepare area: Remove sticks, stones, and debris.
2. Set height: Adjust for grass type and season (higher in summer heat).
3. Select mode: Bag for collection, mulch for nutrients, side-discharge for quick cutting.
4. Start mower: Ensure safety key inserted, press START.
5. Mow pattern: Overlap previous pass by 2-3 inches.
6. Empty bag: When bag full indicator shows, stop mower and empty bag.
7. After use: Clean deck, remove battery for charging.

WARNING! Always turn off mower and remove battery before clearing blockages or performing maintenance.

Safety Features

Safety Key: Must be inserted to operate. Blade Brake: Stops blade within 3 seconds of releasing control. Drive Safety: Mower stops moving when drive lever released. LED Headlights: Illuminate path in low light. Battery Protection: Prevents overcharge, over-discharge, and overheating.
