Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools (included).

1. Attach the lower handle: Secure to deck using provided bolts and wrench.
2. Attach the upper handle: Connect to lower handle; secure knobs.
3. Install the grass collection bag: Attach bag hooks to rear deck brackets.
4. Install the mulching plug (if mulching): Insert into rear discharge chute.
5. Install the battery: Insert fully charged battery into battery compartment.

WARNING! Ensure mower is turned off and battery is removed during assembly. Tighten all fasteners securely.

First-Time Setup

Prepare mower for first use.

1. Charge the battery: Connect charger to battery and AC outlet until fully charged (indicator shows green).
2. Adjust cutting height: Set single lever to desired height (recommend 2.5"-3" for first mow).
3. Select mode: Install mulching plug, bag, or open side chute for desired function.
4. Insert safety key: Place into slot near handle.

Controls and Settings

Handle Controls: START/STOP button, Self-propulsion control lever, Safety key slot, Battery fuel gauge, Height adjustment lever.

Operation: Insert safety key. Press and hold START button to activate blades. Squeeze self-propulsion lever to engage drive; release to stop. Adjust speed with lever pressure. Use height lever to change cutting height. Battery: Check fuel gauge for charge level. Charging: Connect charger to battery; indicator shows red (charging) or green (full).

Operating the Mower

For effective and safe mowing.

1. Pre-mow check: Ensure battery charged, deck clear, height set, area free of obstacles.
2. Starting: Insert key, press and hold START button.
3. Self-propulsion: Squeeze lever to move; adjust speed as needed.
4. Mowing pattern: Overlap passes slightly for even cut.
5. Stopping: Release self-propulsion lever, release START button, remove safety key.
6. Bagging/Mulching: Install appropriate accessory; empty bag when full.

Tip: Mow when grass is dry for best results. Avoid mowing in wet conditions.

Battery & Charging

56V ARC Lithium™ battery requires proper care.

1. Charging: Use only EGO rapid charger. Plug charger into outlet, then connect to battery.
2. Storage: Store battery in cool, dry place (50°-77°F ideal).
3. Transport: Remove battery during transport.
4. Disposal: Do not dispose in trash; recycle at authorized center.
5. Maximizing runtime: Keep blade sharp; adjust height appropriately; avoid overly tall/wet grass.

WARNING! Use only EGO chargers and batteries. Do not expose battery to fire or water.

Maintenance & Storage

Regular maintenance ensures longevity.

After each use: Clean underside of deck (mower off, battery removed). Check blade for damage. Wipe exterior with dry cloth. Periodically: Sharpen or replace blade as needed. Check wheel bolts and handle knobs for tightness. Lubricate wheel axles if necessary. Storage: Store in dry location. Remove battery and store separately. Charge battery to 50% if storing long-term.

CAUTION! Always disconnect battery before performing any maintenance. Wear gloves when handling blade.
