Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, clear surface.

1. Attach the Lower Handle: Align lower handle sections with deck brackets; secure with provided bolts and wrenches.
2. Attach the Upper Handle: Connect upper handle to lower handle; tighten knobs or bolts.
3. Install the Grass Bag: Hook bag onto rear deck mounts; ensure it clicks into place.
4. Install Battery: Insert 56V battery into battery compartment until it locks.
5. Attach Side-Discharge Chute (if needed): Slide chute into side port; secure with pin or clip.

WARNING! Ensure all bolts are tightened securely. Do not operate until fully assembled.

First-Time Setup

Prepare mower for initial use.

1. Charge Battery: Connect charger to battery and AC outlet; charge fully (LED indicates completion).
2. Adjust Cutting Height: Use single lever to set desired height (start at highest setting for first mow).
3. Select Discharge Mode: Install mulching plug, grass bag, or side-discharge chute as needed.
4. Insert Safety Key: Insert key into slot near handle; mower will not start without it.

Operating the Mower

For effective and safe mowing.

1. Pre-Mow Check: Ensure battery is charged, area is clear, and discharge mode is set.
2. Starting: Insert Safety Key, press and hold START button; motor will engage.
3. Mowing: Walk at steady pace; overlap passes slightly for even cut.
4. Stopping: Release START button; remove Safety Key when not in use.
5. Emptying Bag: Stop mower, remove Safety Key, detach and empty grass bag when full.
6. Switching Modes: Stop mower and remove Safety Key before changing discharge mode.

Tip: Mow when grass is dry for best results. Avoid mowing in wet conditions.

Battery & Charging

56V ARC Lithium™ battery requires proper care.

1. Charging: Use only EGO charger. Connect charger to battery, then plug into 120V outlet.
2. Storage: Store battery in cool, dry place. For long storage, charge to 50%.
3. Fuel Gauge: Press button on battery to check charge level (LED indicators).
4. Temperature: Charge between 32°F and 104°F (0°C and 40°C).

WARNING! Do not use damaged battery or charger. Keep away from metal objects.

Maintenance & Storage

Regular maintenance ensures longevity.

1. After Each Use: Clean underside of deck; remove grass clippings and debris.
2. Blade Care: Periodically check blade for sharpness and damage; replace if bent or dull.
3. Wheel and Height Adjustment: Lubricate moving parts if needed; ensure smooth operation.
