Assembly Instructions

Unpack all parts and inspect for damage. Assembly requires a Phillips screwdriver.

1. Attach Lower Handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets, secure with provided bolts and wing nuts.
2. Install Upper Handle: Slide upper handle onto lower handle, secure with knobs or bolts.
3. Attach Grass Bag: Hook bag onto rear deck hooks; ensure it is secure.
4. Install Mulch Plug (if desired): Insert mulch plug into rear discharge opening.
5. Install Safety Key: Insert safety key into slot on control panel.

WARNING! Ensure mower is powered off and battery is removed during assembly. Tighten all fasteners securely.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, charge battery fully and perform a safety check.

1. Charge Battery: Connect charger to battery and AC outlet; charge until indicator shows full.
2. Install Battery: Insert fully charged battery into battery compartment until it clicks.
3. Adjust Cutting Height: Set height lever to desired position (middle setting recommended for first use).

Controls and Settings

Operating the Mower

Supports mulching, bagging, and side discharge (with optional accessory).

1. Pre-Start Check: Ensure area is clear, battery installed, safety key inserted.
2. Starting: Press and hold start button while pulling blade control lever toward handle.
3. Mowing: Walk behind mower; squeeze drive lever for self-propelled motion.
4. Height Adjustment: Stop mower, move height lever to desired setting.
5. Bagging/Mulching: Install grass bag or mulch plug before starting.
6. Stopping: Release drive lever, release blade control lever, remove safety key.
7. Slope Operation: Mow across slopes, not up and down. Use caution on inclines over 15°.

WARNING! Always wear eye and hearing protection. Keep hands and feet away from cutting blade. Do not mow wet grass.
