Assembly & Setup

Unpack all parts and inspect for damage. Assembly requires basic tools (included).

1. Attach the Handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets, secure with provided bolts and wing nuts.
2. Install Upper Handle: Connect upper handle to lower handle, tighten knobs.
3. Attach Grass Bag: Hook bag frame onto rear deck hooks; ensure it clicks into place.
4. Install Battery: Insert fully charged 56V battery into battery compartment until it locks.
5. Check Safety Key: Ensure safety key is inserted into the slot on the handle.

WARNING! Keep hands and feet away from the cutting blade at all times. Do not assemble with battery installed.

First-Time Operation

Before first use, fully charge the battery and perform a safety check.

1. Charge Battery: Connect charger to battery and wall outlet; charge until indicator shows full.
2. Select Cutting Mode: Use 3-in-1 lever to choose Mulch, Bag, or Side Discharge.

Mowing Operations

3. Self-Propulsion: Squeeze drive lever to move forward; release to stop drive.
4. Speed Adjustment: Turn speed dial while mowing to match your walking pace.
5. Cutting Patterns: Overlap each pass by 2-3 inches for even cut.
6. Wet Grass: Avoid mowing very wet grass to prevent clumping.
7. Slopes: Mow across slopes, not up and down, for stability.
8. Stopping: Release drive lever and safety bail handle; blade stops in 3 seconds.

Tip: For best battery life, use lower speeds in thick grass.

Battery & Charging

The 56V ARC Lithium™ battery is rechargeable and maintenance-free.

1. Charging: Use only EGO charger. Connect charger to battery, then plug into 120V outlet.
2. Charge Indicator: Red LED = charging; Green LED = fully charged.
3. Battery Fuel Gauge: Press button on battery to see remaining charge (5 LEDs).
4. Storage: Store battery in a cool, dry place (between 40°F and 104°F).
