Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a flat, clear surface.

1. Attach the handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets, secure with provided bolts and wrench.
2. Install upper handle: Connect to lower handle, secure knobs.
3. Attach grass bag: Hang bag on rear hooks; ensure it's secure.
4. Install battery: Insert fully charged battery into compartment until it clicks.
5. Attach mulching plug or side-discharge chute as desired.

WARNING! Ensure mower is turned off and battery is removed during assembly. Tighten all fasteners securely.

First-Time Operation

Before first use, fully charge the battery. Select desired mowing mode.

1. Insert Safety Key into slot near handle.
2. Adjust cutting height: Use single lever to set height for your lawn condition.
3. Select discharge mode: Install mulching plug, grass bag, or side-discharge chute.
4. Start mower: Press and hold safety lever on handle, then press start button.
5. Begin mowing: Walk at a steady pace, overlapping passes slightly.

CAUTION! Clear mowing area of debris, rocks, and toys. Wear appropriate footwear and eye protection.

Controls and Settings

Main controls located on the handle. Front of deck: Height adjustment lever.

Cutting Height: Adjust via single lever on each wheel or central lever (model dependent). Discharge Mode: Select by installing appropriate accessory (mulching plug, bag, or chute). Battery & Charging

Use only EGO POWER+ 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries and charger.

1. Charging: Plug charger into outlet, connect to battery. LED indicates charging status.
2. Battery Installation: Insert into compartment until it clicks; ensure it's fully seated.
3. Storage: Store battery in a cool, dry place away from metal objects.
4. Fuel Gauge: Press button on battery to check remaining charge (LED indicators).

Tip: For longest battery life, charge after each use and store at room temperature.

Mowing Operations

Supports mulching, bagging, and side-discharge.

1. Mulching: Install mulching plug. Cuts clippings finely and returns them to lawn.
2. Bagging: Attach grass bag. Collects clippings for disposal.
3. Side-Discharge: Install side-discharge chute. Ejects clippings to the side.
4. Height Adjustment: Change height based on grass type and season.
5. Overlap Passes: Overlap each pass by 2-3 inches for even cut.
6. Wet Grass: Avoid mowing wet grass if possible; may reduce efficiency and clog deck.
7. Slopes: Mow across slopes, not up and down, for stability.

WARNING! Always turn mower off and remove safety key before changing accessories or clearing blockages.

Safety Features

Safety Key: Must be inserted to start mower. Safety Lever: Must be held during operation; releases to stop blade. Blade Brake: Stops blade within 3 seconds of releasing lever. Protective Deck: Shields blade area.

Care & Maintenance

After each use: Clean underside of deck, check for damage. Periodically: Inspect blade for sharpness/damage, tighten fasteners, check wheels.
