Assembly & Setup

Unpack all parts and inspect for damage. Assembly requires basic tools (included).

  1. Attach the lower handle: Align with deck brackets and secure with provided bolts.
  2. Attach the upper handle: Connect to lower handle, secure knobs.
  3. Install the rear bag: Hook bag frame onto deck mounts.
  4. Install the battery: Insert fully charged battery into compartment until it clicks.
  5. Attach the mulching plug (if desired): Insert into rear discharge chute.

WARNING! Ensure mower is powered OFF and battery is removed during assembly. Tighten all fasteners securely.

First-Time Operation

Before first mow, fully charge the battery and perform a safety check.

  1. Charge battery: Use included charger; LED indicates charging status.
  2. Adjust cutting height: Set lever to desired position for your lawn.
  3. Select cutting mode: Install bag, mulching plug, or open side chute.
  4. Start mower: Insert battery, press and hold safety key, then press start button.
  5. Engage self-propulsion: Squeeze drive control lever to desired speed.

CAUTION! Clear mowing area of debris. Wear appropriate safety gear: eye protection, sturdy shoes, long pants.

Primary controls located on the handle. Front of deck: Height adjustment lever.

Handle Controls: Start button, Safety key, Self-propulsion drive control lever, Bag full indicator window.

Cutting Height: Adjust via single lever at each wheel. Move lever to matching notch (1.5", 2", 2.5", 3", 3.5", 4"). Self-Propulsion Speed: Controlled by squeezing drive lever; more squeeze = faster. Cutting Mode: Install rear bag for collection, mulching plug for recycling, or leave chute open for side discharge.

Battery & Charging

Use only EGO 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries and charger.

  1. Charging: Insert battery into charger; plug charger into 120V outlet. Green LED = charged, Red LED = charging.
  2. Battery Installation: Slide into mower compartment until it clicks. To remove, press release buttons and pull out.
  3. Storage: Store battery in cool, dry place. For long storage, charge to 30-50%.

Tip: For maximum runtime, use a fully charged battery and avoid cutting wet or excessively tall grass.

Mowing Operations

Designed for efficient, quiet mowing of medium to large lawns.

  1. Starting: Insert safety key, then press and hold start button.
  2. Self-Propulsion: Squeeze drive control lever to move forward; release to stop drive.
  3. Cutting Patterns: Overlap each pass by 2-3 inches for even cut.
  4. Bagging: Empty bag when indicator shows full to maintain performance.
  5. Mulching: Ensure grass is dry and not too tall for best results.
  6. Side Discharge: Use for cutting tall grass; direct discharge away from people and objects.
  7. Shutting Down: Release drive lever, release start button, remove safety key, and remove battery.

WARNING! Always turn off mower and remove battery before clearing blockages, adjusting height, or performing any maintenance.

Maintenance & Storage

Regular maintenance ensures longevity and optimal performance.

After Each Use: Clean underside of deck (remove battery first). Check blade for damage. Wipe down mower.

Seasonal: Sharpen or replace blade as needed. Lubricate wheel axles if necessary. Inspect for loose fasteners.

Storage: Store in a clean, dry place. Fold handle for compact storage. Remove battery and store separately.

CAUTION! Never use water or hose to clean mower. Always disconnect battery before any maintenance.
