Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools (included).

  1. Install Steering Levers: Attach to control panel with provided bolts.
  2. Attach Seat: Mount seat on frame using four bolts; adjust position for operator comfort.
  3. Install Battery Packs: Insert both 56V batteries into compartments; ensure connectors are secure.
  4. Attach Deck (if shipped separately): Align deck with mounting points; secure with pins and bolts.
  5. Install Wheels: Ensure all tires are properly inflated to 15 PSI.

WARNING! Mower is heavy; use assistance or lifting equipment. Ensure all bolts are tightened to specified torque.

First-Time Operation

Before first mow, complete pre-operation checks.

  1. Battery Charge: Ensure batteries are fully charged using included charger.
  2. Safety Check: Verify parking brake is engaged, blades are disengaged, and key is removed.
  3. Familiarize with Controls: Practice steering lever operation in an open area without blades engaged.
  4. Adjust Cutting Height: Set deck to desired height using adjustment lever.
  5. Start Mower: Sit on seat, engage parking brake, insert key, turn to ON, then engage blades via PTO switch.

CAUTION! Never operate on slopes greater than 15 degrees. Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.

Specifications

Controls and Indicators

Control Panel: Ignition Key, PTO (Blade Engage) Switch, Parking Brake Lever, Steering Levers, Cutting Height Lever, LED Headlight Switch.

Indicators: Battery Charge Level (LED bar), Fault Indicator Light, Headlight On Indicator.

Operation: Use left and right steering levers to control speed and direction (push forward to go forward, pull back to reverse). Engage blades only when seated and parking brake is released. Always disengage blades when crossing driveways or gravel.

Mowing Operation

For optimal performance and lawn health.

  1. Inspect Area: Remove sticks, stones, and debris from lawn.
  2. Plan Pattern: Mow in overlapping passes for even cut.
  3. Engage Blades: With parking brake released, move steering levers to slow forward motion, then engage PTO switch.
  4. Adjust Speed: Maintain consistent speed for even cut; slower in thick grass.
  5. Empty Bag: Monitor bagger fullness; empty when indicator shows full.
  6. Shut Down: Disengage blades, engage parking brake, turn key OFF, remove key.

Tip: Mow when grass is dry for best results and to prevent clumping.

Battery & Charging

Dual 56V ARC Lithium™ Batteries provide power.

  1. Charging: Use included dual-port charger. Plug into standard 120V outlet. Insert batteries into charger; LED indicates charging status (red=charging, green=full).
  2. Storage: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. For long-term storage (>30 days), charge to 50%.
  3. Performance: Run time decreases in very thick grass or on slopes. Have a second set of batteries for extended mowing.
  4. Safety: Do not expose batteries to fire or water. Use only EGO-approved chargers.

WARNING! Do not charge batteries in direct sunlight or temperatures below 32°F (0°C) or above 104°F (40°C).
