Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires two people.

  1. Install Steering Levers: Attach to control panel with provided bolts.
  2. Attach Seat: Mount seat onto frame using included hardware.
  3. Install Batteries: Insert batteries into compartments; connect terminals.
  4. Attach Cutting Deck: Lower deck onto mounting points; secure with pins.
  5. Install Grass Catcher (if included): Attach brackets to rear frame.

WARNING! Mower is heavy; use proper lifting techniques. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.

First-Time Operation

Fully charge batteries before first use.

  1. Insert Safety Key: Place key into ignition slot near seat.
  2. Adjust Seat: Position for comfortable reach to controls.
  3. Set Cutting Height: Use deck lift lever to desired height.
  4. Engage Blades: Pull up PTO (Power Take-Off) switch.
  5. Drive Practice: In an open area, practice using steering levers for forward, reverse, and turning.

CAUTION! Operate only on stable, level ground. Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.

Steering Levers: Left lever controls left wheel; right lever controls right wheel. Push forward to go forward, pull back for reverse. Move levers independently to turn.

Cutting Height Adjustment: Use deck lift lever on right side. Seat Adjustment: Lever under seat front. Parking Brake: Engage before dismounting. Headlights: Toggle switch for on/off.

Battery & Charging

Use only EGO 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries and charger.

  1. Charging: Remove batteries or charge on mower. Connect charger; LED indicates status.
  2. Battery Care: Store in cool, dry place. Avoid complete discharge.
  3. Battery Indicator: Monitor LCD display; recharge when one bar remains.

Tip: For longest life, charge batteries after each use.

Mowing Operation

Supports mulching, bagging, and side discharge.

  1. Pre-Mow Check: Clear area of debris. Ensure battery is charged.
  2. Start Mower: Insert key, sit on seat, engage parking brake, start blades with PTO switch.
  3. Drive: Release parking brake, slowly push levers forward to move.
  4. Turning: To turn left, pull left lever back while pushing right lever forward.
  5. Cutting Patterns: Overlap passes by 2-3 inches for even cut.
  6. Slopes: Mow across slopes, not up and down. Avoid slopes over 15 degrees.
  7. Bagging: Attach grass catcher; empty when full.
  8. Shutdown: Disengage blades, engage parking brake, remove key.

WARNING! Never mow wet grass. Always look behind before reversing.

Safety Features

Operator Presence System: Blades stop if operator leaves seat. Safety Key: Prevents unauthorized use. Parking Brake: Locks wheels when engaged. Blade Brake Clutch: Stops blades within 3 seconds of disengagement.

Care & Maintenance

After each use: Clean deck, check for damage, wipe down mower. Monthly: Check tire pressure (15 PSI), inspect blades for sharpness/damage, lubricate pivot points. Seasonally: Remove batteries for storage, clean battery contacts.
