Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires two people.

  1. Install Steering Levers: Attach to control panel per diagram, secure with provided bolts.
  2. Attach Seat: Place seat on mounting plate, secure with four bolts.
  3. Install Battery Packs: Insert batteries into compartments, ensure connectors are fully seated.
  4. Attach Deck (if shipped separately): Lift mower, align deck with mounting points, secure with pins and bolts.
  5. Install Grass Bagger (optional): Attach brackets to rear frame, hook bagger unit into place.

WARNING! Ensure mower is on a flat, stable surface during assembly. Keep hands clear of pinch points.

First-Time Operation

Before first mow, complete pre-operation checks.

  1. Charge Batteries: Connect charger to batteries and wall outlet. Full charge indicated by green LED.
  2. Inspect Area: Clear mowing area of debris, rocks, and toys.
  3. Adjust Cutting Height: Set lever to desired height (start at 3" for first mow).
  4. Familiarize Controls: Practice steering in an open area without blades engaged.
  5. Engage Blades: Pull up on blade engagement lever while seated and parking brake is set.

CAUTION! Always wear eye and hearing protection. Do not mow on slopes greater than 15 degrees.

Controls and Settings

Operator Station: Seat, Steering Levers, Ignition Key Switch, Blade Engagement Lever, Parking Brake, Height Adjustment Lever, LED Light Switch.

Steering Levers: Control speed and direction. Push both forward to go straight, move one lever back to turn.

Blade Engagement: Pull lever up to engage blades. Ensure parking brake is set first.

Parking Brake: Set by pulling lever up. Must be engaged to start mower.

Height Adjustment: Move lever to one of 10 positions to raise/lower deck.

LED Headlights: Toggle switch on control panel.

Battery & Charging

Uses two 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries. Charger included.

  1. Charging: Plug charger into outlet, connect to battery port. LED indicates status (red=charging, green=full).
  2. Battery Removal: Turn key OFF, remove key. Press battery release button, slide battery out.
  3. Storage: Store batteries at room temperature (40°F - 100°F). Charge every 6 months if storing long-term.

Tip: For longest life, avoid completely draining batteries. Charge after each use.

Mowing Operation

For optimal cutting performance and safety.

  1. Startup: Sit on seat, set parking brake, insert and turn key to ON.
  2. Engage Blades: With parking brake set, pull blade engagement lever up.
  3. Release Parking Brake: Push lever down.
  4. Drive: Slowly push both steering levers forward to move. To turn, slow one lever.
  5. Reverse: Pull levers back gently. Blades automatically disengage in reverse (safety feature).
  6. Finish: Set parking brake, disengage blades, turn key OFF and remove.

WARNING! Always look behind before backing up. Keep children and pets away from mowing area.

Maintenance Schedule
